Brothers Water, Lakes, 18-20 October, Area camp. Although we weren't blessed with fine weather, we made the most of our stay in the Lake District, with an afternoon walk on our day of arrival, a full day on the next day, and another shorter walk on our day of departure. Heavy rain and very low cloud led us to change our plans for Saturday, which would have seen a high level walk over the fells from Patterdale to the campsite. Four Scarborough members and one Ryedale member attended. |
