7 June Egton Bridge, led by Judith Trafford

Back marker: Harry Whitehouse Extra pics by Chris Bibby

The party included holiday-makers Nigel and Fiona Parker-Clayton (and their dog Pip) from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who left the Postgate Inn for a walk...and joined ours.

On Tuesday, we were delighted to receive the following letter:

"Hello to all the walkers, especially Judy, who made our Sunday.

Nigel, Pip and I had set out with our Ordnance Survey map from the Postgate Inn and managed to meet up with a great group of walkers, to share a walk that really showed us the best of the local area, without needing to look at the map once!

Then as a souvenir a wonderful collection of photos and the map.  We also had some aching calves to remind us that perhaps we were not as fit as many of you!

If you ever head in this direction and would like something checking out, don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you again,

Kind regards
Fiona, Nigel and Pip x"
