PRE-WALK INFO: (If supplied) Walk leader's description of start point/general information about route.

Start point Burton Fleming Road, Rudston, close to the Bosville Arms pub.  Park on verge by recycling bins.  This walk takes in woods, farm tracks, field paths and Roman road. The road is where David Hockney painted his views of the wolds and the totem tree. See a temple, old churches , 4000-year-old stone and possibly something called by the locals the Rudston hippos.
