From Scarborough, take the A165 past Bridlington. Soon keep straight on at traffic lights to join the A164, then turn left after passing through Carnaby. Turn right at a roundabout to rejoin the A165. Turn left to Barmston. Drive through the village to the carpark beside the beach, opposite a caravan site. Visiting Skipsea Castle and Trusey Hill and finishing with a walk along Barmston's beautiful sands. Only about 350ft of height gain.
