description of start point/general information about route.
The start point is the Sea Life Centre carpark, which is free until March 1st. We'll be back before then, of course. Distance is about 10 miles, the prewalk took me less than the usual time for that length. It's a nice route up to Hay Brow, the seacut and eventually Raincliffe Woods, no significant hills, just steady going. If anyone chooses to park on Scalby Mills Rd, please come down to the cp, as we shall not be walking up that way.
