Our walk is full of interest and promises to be an excellent day out and well worth the cost of the train ticket and parking.
We'll meet at the main car park in Grosmont at 10am ( £4.50 for an all day ticket) and walk to the station for the 10.30 steam train to Goathland (tickets £6 adult, £5 over 65s). At Goathland we'll walk through the village and visit the Mallyan Spout waterfall then leave the tourists behind to follow lesser walked lanes, farm and woodland paths to Beck Hole for a lunch stop. It is then an easy 2 mile walk back to Grosmont. Total distance 6.5 miles. Don't forget your packed lunch!
