Phil Trafford reports: We were joined by National Park staff member Jo Collins who is responsible for organising monitoring of listed monuments by volunteers. Our group have been allocated 6 monuments to "look after", and Jo demonstrated what is
required using some tumuli on the moor as an example. Ray Johnson has volunteered to be our group coordinator for the scheme.

At the end of the walk, Margie and Les Atkinson kindly invited the group into their cottage for mince pies with brandy cream, sausage rolls and mulled wine.
