Supplementary information:

This Sunday we are having another joint walk, this time with Scarborough Rambling Club ( 'SRC') .I and  Keith Thomas from SRC who is their long walks organiser, and a couple of other ramblers from our group recced the route some weeks ago . The walk starts from Hole of Horcum car park (car park charge £2.50 for all day) and visits the Bridestones, Lockton and Levisham before going through the bottom of the Hole of Horcum to return to our cars. The distance will be about 10 miles.

Scarborough Rambling Club is the other main walking club based in Scarborough, They are affiliated to the Ramblers' Association and each week have a long walk (10 to 14 miles) and a short walk.(5 to 9 miles) We look forward to meeting them and sharing experiences of walking. - Gary
