August 24, Working Party near Dalehouse, led by Les Atkinson

Eight members joined National Park Senior Ranger Bernie McLinden near Staithes for a minibus ride to the site of our day's task. All enjoyed a rewarding day's work clearing all obstructions from a mile of footpath from Dalehouse to the footbridge in Roxby Woods. The short steep footpath  up to Ridge Hall had become totally blocked by brambles, bracken, nettles and fallen branches. Clearing this was the groups final task of the day before finishing with the customary cake and a visit to the Fox and Hounds.
