March 20, Working Party at Goathland

Five group members joined National Park Ranger Beth Ghest at Goathland to endure horrible weather conditions. Our task was to start building a handrail on the steepest section of the footpath from the Mallyan Spout Hotel down to the waterfall. About half the length was completed after a hard, but very satisfying, day's work. Beth hopes to complete the job next week with another group of volunteers.
